We have crafted our latest addition to the Drifter range from a wool blend, which is super soft and warm for the cooler months. The wool has been brushed to enhance the natural textures and patterns this fabric creates.
We have contrasted this mid-grey with natural wooden buttons and lined with a grey cotton.
I have never found a waistcoat like this - it's unique, stylish and timeless.
From Edward VII to the modern-day Pioneer
Origins
Manual for Life The term âwaistcoatâ is derived from the cutting of the cloth used to make them, as prior to their invention British tailors would cut the cloth for a coat much longer than that of a waistcoat. Over the years they have been in and out of fashion but we belive they are an essential in any Pioneers wardrobe. With a few rules of course. We support pioneers and those willing to break the norm, so our rules are as as simple guide. Style your waistcoat however you like, itâs the perfect layered companion.
Keep it fitted A baggy waistcoat is never a good look, so buy the right size and cinch in if it isnât quite right.
Be seen and not heard Stick to neutral colours - A waistcoat should be seen and not heard⊠donât go loud and keep things neutral and understated.
